This blog is primarily created for my artist side of life. I am a professional artist and photographer and educator. Equine portraits are a passion of mine, created from the photographs taken of the the horse. I work in oil, acrylic, pencil, and pastel.
Sit back...this will get complicated! I am a parent, teacher, artist, equine sports massage therapist, children's book writer, photogpraper and horse enthusiast. Believe it or not I am currently doing all of those things. It helps to be ADHD!!!
This drawing was completed for a friend of mine. Thor, a Norwegian Fjord, has a great personality. The soft colors of his coat match the medium of pastel pencil.
